Prague is the national capital and also the prime city of Czech Republic. Located in the heart of the Bohemia and flanked by the river Vltava, and is referred to as one of the most fabulous places in Europe, with a long saga of legendry historical significance.
The city has been of great economic, social, political as well as cultural importance since eleventh century and hosts about 2 million residents and is also featured amongst the highly toured cities continent-wise.
The city has the screen name of “the golden city” along with many popular names, also proudly possesses the Prague Castle, which is the world’s largest castle from the ancient times that is listed under the Guinness Book of World Records.
Fortunately, Prague was not much damaged during the World War II and so most of the historic buildings with imposing architecture is still stands tall echoing the rich heritage of the city and for this reason the UNESCO has listed the Prague in the World Heritage Sites from 1992 onwards.
Prague showcases cherished classic collection of very old architecture in its original form, featuring the Art Nouveau works in Mucha museum, the Astronomical Clock, Old Town Square, the Lennon Wall, Vyšehrad castle, Petrínská rozhledna: an observation tower that is comparable to the Eiffel Tower and many more star attractions!
Prague is famed worldwide as the cultural capital of Europe and there are lots of music clubs, galleries, concert hall including the National Library, Museum, Theatre and State Opera.
